I came across TIG when I wanted to look for a substitute social network that was not blocked in my old working place. It has since opened my eyes to a number of issues facing us all today.

TakingITGlobal and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina are pleased to announce the launching of phase III of "Youth for Change" which focuses on the theme: Dialogue & Mutual Understanding - Take Action. This program aims to encourage cross-cultural dialogue and support youth-led development projects and will be implemented in partnership with local organizations in 22 Arab countries: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, UAE and Yemen.
Join now to find out more about the program activities and most importantly apply for mini-grants of $500 and $1,000 USD as well as scholarships to attend the 6th Arab Youth Forum in Alexandria, and an International Youth Conference in 2011/2012.
